
HOST A PRE / POST EVENT
As part of the lead up to the Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023, we are pleased to announce that associated events sponsored by the Steering Committee, as well as major groups and other stakeholders, will be organised to complement the main event.
If you are interested in organising a pre/post event for Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023, we request that you submit a proposal using the form below. The proposal should include a detailed description of the proposed event, including its thematic focus, format, proposed speakers/presenters, and potential contribution.
Completed forms must be completed no later than 3 weeks prior to the proposed event date. Please note that additional advance notice will increase the likelihood of the event being supported.
No events will be held at the same time as scheduled programme events during May 29th - June 1st
Guidelines for Organisers

Pre/post event proposals should closely relate to the overarching purpose of Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023 and make a contribution to the main themes (Policy in Practive, Citizen Engagement, Collaboration & Innovation) and/or focus areas (Built Environment, Design and Manufacturing, Social Enterprise or Food Systems and the Bioeconomy).

To ensure consistency with the main event, the organiser of the proposed pre/post event is encouraged to liaise with one of the co-organisers of the Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023 where relevant. This helps to maintain a cohesive approach to the event organization and ensures that the proposed pre/post event aligns with the overall objectives of the main event.

The Steering Committee will prepare a comprehensive programme posted on the Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023 website at www.dublincirculareconomyhotspot.com. However, publicising the pre/post event is the responsibility of its organisers. The Steering Committee will not produce flyers, distribute notices, or run other publicity efforts for pre-events. Organisers are encouraged to limit the number of information materials, such as flyers, and brochures for environmental reasons.

The Steering Committee will make every effort to accommodate all eligible requests for pre/post events, due to the high level of demand expected, it may not be possible to accommodate all requests.
General Rules

To ensure consistency with the Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023 branding and guidelines, organisers proposing a pre/post event must receive approval from the Steering Committee. Upon approval, pre/post events will receive the digital press pack, presentation and the rights to use the official logo.

Pre/post event organisers should plan to hold their event in English or make their own interpretation arrangements, as interpretation services are not available for pre/post events.

The sale of printed materials or any goods during the pre/post events or at any other time is strictly prohibited.

The approval of a pre/post event does not constitute an endorsement from the Steering Committee member organisations in relation to products and/or services.

Food and beverage arrangements will be the responsibility of the pre/post event organisers, and the Steering Committee will not facilitate such arrangements.

It is the responsibility of the pre/post event organisers to make their own arrangements and requirements.
